The draw ceremony of the national championship among women and men was held on December 4.
İdman.Biz reports that the event was attended by Rashad Rasulllu, Executive Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF), Natig Bagirov, Advisor to the President of the ACF and Chairman of the Referees Committee, and Kamran Talibov, Deputy Secretary General and Sports Director.
According to the results of the draw, the first opponents of the judokas have been determined.
206 judokas (154 men, 52 women) from 50 clubs and sports societies will test their strength in 14 weight categories in the competition to be held at the Baku Sports Palace.
Individual competitions will be held on December 5–6, and team competitions will be held on December 7. Qualification matches will be held every day at 10:00, and final blocks will be held at 17:00.
