The roster of Azerbaijan's U-20 judo team, which will participate in the Junior World Judo Championships to be held in Lima, the capital of Peru, on October 5–7, has been determined. Sport24.az reports that our athletes will participate in the competition under the leadership of Rustam Alimli (boys) and Amina Abdellatif (girls).
Azerbaijan will be represented by 8 judokas at the championship - Nihad Mamishov, Farid Garayev (60 kg), Magomed Musayev, Nizami Imranov (66 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg), Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg), Aydan Valiyeva, Khadija Gadashova (both 52 kg).
It should be noted that approximately 500 judokas from about 70 countries will compete in the world championship.
