Azerbaijan's senior national judo team will participate in the European Cup to be held in Gori, Georgia.
"Report" informs that the team will be represented by 19 athletes in 6 weight categories.
The team will be led by Elchin Ismayilov and Robert Kravchik, the senior coaches of the men's national team.
Babarahim Mirzayev, Murad Aliyev, Amin Ismayilov (all 60 kg), Tofig Mammadov, Nazir Talibov, Kenan Ismayilov, Rashad Yelkiyev, Eltaj Yusifli (all 66 kg), Rufat Shovletov, Nariman Mirzayev, Kamran Suleymanov, Gadir Huseynov (all 73 kg), Maharram Imamverdiyev (81 kg), Naim Huseynov, Fagan Shamilov, Ibrahim Agakishiyev (all 90 kg), Nihad Shikhalizade, Shahin Asadov and Elmar Gasimov (all 100 kg) will compete for medals at the European Cup.
It should be noted that 199 athletes (146 men, 53 women) from 15 countries will participate in the tournament, which will be held on May 10-11, organized by the European Judo Union.
