The judokas who will represent Azerbaijan at the Grand Slam tournament to be held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on July 25–27, have been determined.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Judo Federation that Azerbaijan will be represented at this competition by 3 judokas in 2 weight categories, under the leadership of the head coach of the men's team, Elkhan Mammadov.
Balabay Agayev, Turan Bayramov (both 60 kg) and Elshan Asadov (66 kg) will compete in the tournament.
Nazim Umbayev, a member of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation's panel of judges, an "A" category international referee, will be among the representatives of justice at this stage of the World Tour organized by the International Judo Federation.
It should be noted that 248 athletes (148 men, 100 women) from 29 countries will participate in the three-day tournament.
