In the consolation match, our judokas lost to the Poles with a score of 2:4 and finished their performance in the tournament.

The Azerbaijani national team of junior judokas participated in the mixed team competition at the World Championship held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that our team started the fight with a victory.
Our team defeated the Georgian national team with a score of 4:2 in the 1/8 finals and advanced to the 1/4 finals.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani judokas had previously finished the individual competition with 2 bronze medals. Anar Guliyev (50 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) won bronze medals.
