The European Judo Cup among juniors has ended in Ganja. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani team finished the competition held at the Ganja Sports Palace with 24 medals.
On the last day of the tournament, Yusif Nazar (73 kg) and Yaqub Mammadov (81 kg) won gold medals.
Sadiq Mammadov (73 kg) won silver, Akif Mammadli (73 kg), Polad Hasanli, Amin Mehdiyev (both 81 kg), Omar Akhundov, Nureddin Aliyev (both 90 kg), Huseyn Huseynov, Tamerlan Aliyev (both +90 kg), and Masuma Mammadli (70 kg) won bronze medals. It should be reminded that our team won 13 medals in yesterday's competition. 269 judokas from 10 countries competed in the European Cup.
