Azerbaijani youth judo team defeats Georgia at the World Championships

The Azerbaijani youth judo team participated in the mixed team competition at the World Championships held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

İdman.biz reports that our team started the competition with a victory.

Our team defeated the Georgian national team 4:2 in the 1/8 finals and advanced to the 1/4 finals.

It should be noted that Azerbaijani judokas previously finished the individual competition with 2 bronze medals. Anar Guliyev (50 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) won bronze awards.
