Azerbaijani judokas will participate in the European Cup among young people in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
"Report" informs that our country will be represented by 9 judokas in 6 weight categories at the competition organized by the European Judo Union.
Rustam Alimli, the head coach of the youth national team, and coach Elkhan Rajabli will lead the team.
Nihad Mamishov, Farid Garayev (both 60 kg), Muhammad Musayev, Nizami Imranov (both 66 kg), Abil Yusubov (73 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg), Tuncay Shamil, Aslan Kotsoyev (both 90 kg) and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg) will try to justify the coaches' trust.
It should be noted that 241 athletes from 26 countries will compete in the tournament, which will last from August 2 to 3.
