The European Judo Open will be held in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, on February 14-15.
Idman.Biz reports that seven women judokas in five weight categories will represent our country in the competition organized by the European Judo Union. Our athletes will be led by Amina Abdellatif, the head coach of the women's national team, and Sasa Herkenrat-Vimar, the senior coach.
509 athletes (293 men, 216 women) from 44 countries will test their strength in the international competition.
It should be noted that Nazim Umbayev, an "A" category international referee, and Mahammadali Guluzade, a "B" category international referee, members of the judging panel of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, will also be among the representatives of justice in the tournament.
