Azerbaijani judoka Farhad Rajabli won a gold medal at the European Veterans Judo Championship held in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
"Report" informs that the tatami master, competing in the 90 kg weight category, defeated all his rivals and won the title of European champion for the 11th time.
F.Rajabli, competing in the M-8 age category, defeated Ukrainian Oleksandr Rangayev by ippon in the final. Our representative is also a 12-time world champion.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan is represented by 30 athletes in the competition. 855 judokas from 37 countries are competing in the continental tournament.
