Azerbaijani Taekwondo fighters won 6 medals at open international tournaments held in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

On June 1, at the competition held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, students of the "Narimanov" district sports club Rugayye Aliyeva (28 kg) and Aylin Salahli (41 kg) won gold medals, and Chilingir Gokalp (36 kg) won a silver medal.
Later, the athletes who left for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, tested their strength on June 7 at the tournament organized by the "Grand Master" Taekwondo Club.
From the club members, Ch. Gokalp (36 kg) defeated all his opponents this time and won a gold medal. A. Salahli (41 kg) proved her championship once again. R. Aliyeva (28 kg) took second place on the podium.
