The Azerbaijani karatekas who will participate in the World Championship to be held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, have been determined. The Karate Federation reported that six athletes will represent our country at the World Cup based on licenses.
In the men's competition, Nuran Rzazade (67 kilograms), Turgut Hasanov (84 kilograms), Asiman Gurbanli (+84 kilograms), and among women, Madina Sadigova (55 kilograms) and Irina Zaretska (68 kilograms) will test their strength. Roman Heydarov will compete in the kata competition.
Also, the Azerbaijani national parakarate team will participate in the tournament.
The World Championship will be held from November 27 to 30.
