Azerbaijani judokas won 3 medals on the first day of the European Cup among adults held in Gori, Georgia.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Judo Federation that Nazir Talibov, competing in the 66 kg weight category, defeated all his opponents and climbed to the highest step of the podium.
Babarahim Mirzayev (60 kg) won silver, and Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg) won bronze.
It should be noted that 169 judokas from 15 countries are testing their strength in the tournament.
