Idman.Biz reports that Movlud Miraliyev (100 kg) in the M5 age category won a gold medal by defeating all his opponents. The master judoka defeated Brazilian Joao Santos in the final and became the world champion for the third time.
Azer Asgarov (100 kg), who competed in the M6 age category, won a bronze medal. Our representative defeated Frenchman Thierry Lefèvre in the match for third place.
Currently, our team, which has one gold and four bronze medals, is ranked 12th in the team standings among 65 countries.
