Azerbaijani Judokas Win 7 Medals at Tashkent Grand Slam

Azerbaijani judokas finished the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with 7 medals.

"Report" reports that 4 of the medals were gold, 1 was silver, and 2 were bronze.

Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg), Omar Rajabli (81 kg), Murad Fatiyev (90 kg), and Kenan Nasibov (+100 kg) climbed to the highest step of the podium.

Balabay Aghayev (60 kg) won a silver medal. Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg) and Jamal Gamzatkhanov (+100 kg) settled for bronze medals.

Azerbaijan took 1st place in the men's team competition. In the overall team standings, they were 2nd after Japan.
