Azerbaijani judokas have won 4 medals at the European Judo Hopes Tournament held in Riga, the capital of Latvia.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Judo Federation that our representatives won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals at the tournament organized by the European Judo Union.
Fakhri Maharramov (U-13, 46 kg) and Farhad Guliyev (U-15, 60 kg) won gold medals by defeating all their rivals. Sajjat Tagiyev (U-15, 42 kg) won a silver medal, and Jahid Bayramli (U-15, -66 kg) won a bronze medal.
289 judokas from 20 countries competed in the tournament.
