Azerbaijani judoka Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) has risen to second place in the world ranking.
Idman.biz reports that Hajiyev, the bronze medalist of the world championship and the silver medalist of the recent Universiade, is only behind Japanese Sanshiro Murao in the ranking.
Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) has lost the first place in the ranking. The Olympic champion has dropped to sixth place.
Another winner of Paris-2024, Zelim Kotsoiev (100 kg), is currently in third place. Zelim Tckaev (81 kg) is in second place.
Balabay Aghayev (60 kg) is ninth, and Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) is in the top 16. Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) is in tenth place.
