Representatives of Azerbaijan will join the competition in various weight categories today at the Grand Prix held in Croatia.
Idman.Biz reports that in the 90 kg weight category, Vugar Talibov will face Croatian Josip Bulic, and Aslan Kotsoev will face Romanian Alex Cret.
In the 100 kg weight category, Ajdar Bagirov will start fighting with Nikola Pavlovski from North Macedonia.
In the +100 kg heavyweight category, Kenan Nasibov will face Georgian judoka Gela Zaalishvili, while Jamal Gamzathanov will skip the first round and start the fight from the second round.
Currently, the Azerbaijani national team has one bronze medal won by Huseyn Allahyarov in the 60 kg weight category at the tournament.
