The "Grand Slam" judo tournament started today in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.

Balabay Aghayev defeated Mendsaikhan Nyamsuren (Mongolia) in the 1/8 finals, but then lost to Hayato Kondo (Japan).
Turan Bayramov also started the "Grand Slam" with a victory. Our representative, who eliminated Sumiyabazar Enkhtaivan (Mongolia), failed to cope with Mehrzod Sufiev (Tajikistan) in the 1/4 finals.
Aghayev and Bayramov competed against each other in the consolation match.
