Azerbaijani judoka Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) finished the World Championship held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, without a medal.
"Report" reports that our representative, who lost to Georgian Guram Tushishvili in the 1/4 finals, won against Czech Lukas Krpalek in the consolation match.
Kokauri lost to Tajikistani Temur Rakhimov in the bronze medal match and remained outside the honorary podium.
It should be noted that with this, the members of the Azerbaijani national team finished the individual competitions of the World Cup with 3 bronze medals. Earlier, our judokas Zelim Tckaev (81 kg), Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) and Zelim Kotsoev (100 kg) won bronze medals. The World Championship will end tomorrow with a mixed team competition.
