The Judo Grand Prix tournament held in Lima, the capital of Peru, has ended. On the last day of the competition, two more athletes of the Azerbaijani national team won medals.

It was reported that Murad Fatiyev, who competed in the 90 kg weight category, made a successful return after a five-month break and won a silver medal. Kanan Nasibov (+100 kg), who competed in the heaviest weight category, won a bronze medal. This result is a remarkable event as the first medal won by the 21-year-old judoka in the World Tour series.
Thus, the Azerbaijani national team finished the Lima Grand Prix with a total of seven medals. Earlier, Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) won silver, Rashad Yelkiyev, Ruslan Pashayev (both 66 kg), Omar Rajabli (81 kg) and Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) won bronze medals.
