The traditional International Masters Judo Tournament held in Bremen, Germany, ended with the absolute victory of the Azerbaijani national team. On the last day of the competition, our national team of young men competing in the U-21 age category performed magnificently and finished the tournament at the top.
Idman.Biz reports that our youth won three gold, two silver and seven bronze medals in this prestigious tournament and rose to the first place in the team score. In the team, Jasur Ibadli (81 kg), Suleyman Shukurov (90 kg) and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg) defeated all their opponents and climbed to the highest step of the podium. Aykhan Mirzazade (60 kg) and Ali Gazimammadov (90 kg) lost only in the final and won silver medals.
Bronze medals were won by Salim Sultanov (73 kg), Mehdi Abbasov (81 kg), Roman Garayev (81 kg), Davud Namazli (100 kg), Vidad Aliyev (100 kg), Eldar Aliyev (+100 kg) and Subhan Akhundov (+100 kg).
It should be noted that in the first days of the tournament, our national team of young boys competing in the U-18 age category also finished the competition in the first place with four gold, three silver and eight bronze medals.
