The Azerbaijani men's judo team is continuing its final stage of preparation for the World Championship in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that our judokas are involved in intensive training twice a day at the National Teams Training Center.
The first part of the training is physical, and the second stage is technical and tactical preparation.
The training camp is led by performance director, head coach of the men's team Richard Trautmann, senior coaches Elkhan Mammadov, Elchin Ismayilov, Robert Kravchik, and Slavko Tekic.
It should be noted that the World Judo Championship among adults will be held on June 13-20 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Azerbaijan will be represented at this prestigious tournament by 13 judokas (9 men, 4 women) in 10 weight categories in individual competitions. Our team will also test its strength in the mixed team competition.
