The European Judo Cup among youth has started in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Sport24.az reports that on the first day of the competition, our national team won 5 medals, including 3 silver and 2 bronze.
Nihad Mamishov (60 kg), Mahammad Musayev (66 kg) and Abil Yusubov (73 kg) won silver medals. Nizami Imranov (66 kg) and Mehdi Jafarov (73 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that our national team is represented by 17 judokas in 7 weight categories at the tournament.
