Azerbaijani judoists will participate in the European Cup among young people, which will be held in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
"Report" informs that our country will be represented by 17 judoists in 7 weight categories at the competition organized by the European Judo Union.
Rustam Alimli, the head coach of the youth team, and coach Elkhan Rajabli will lead our national team.
Among the boys, Nihad Mamishov, Farid Garayev (both 60 kg), Mahammad Musayev, Nizami Imranov (both 66 kg),
Mehdi Jafarov, Abil Yusubov, Nihad Yahyayev, Abdurrahman Sabzaliyev (all 73 kg), Jasur Ibadli, Suleyman Shukurov, Mehdi Abbasov (all 81 kg), Ali Gazimammadov, Tuncay Shamil, Aslan Kotsoyev (all 90 kg), Davud Namazli (100 kg), Eldar Aliyev and Ramazan Ahmadov (both +100 kg) will try to win.
It should be noted that 618 athletes (372 boys, 246 girls) from 37 countries will test their strength in the tournament.
