Azerbaijani Judoists Achieve Success at the European Junior Championships

The European Junior Judo Championships continue in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

Lent.az reports that Azerbaijani representative Mahammad Musayev (57 kg) faced Frenchman Alexis Renard in the final match.

Our athlete, who emerged victorious from the match, won the gold medal. Nizami Imranov (-66 kg) finished the continental championship with a bronze medal.

Thus, the Azerbaijani team has 2 gold and 1 bronze medals. With this result, our team is in second place overall, and first place among men.
