The Grand Slam tournament held in Paris, the capital of France, will conclude today.
"Report" informs that on the last day of the competition, 5 of our judokas in three weight categories will join the fight from the 1/16 final stage.
In the 81 kg weight category, Zelim Tckaev will face the winner of the pair Wang Jian-nan (China) - Lova Mahaisoa Randrianasolo (Madagascar), and Vusal Galandarzada will face the winner of the pair Sasha Jigly (France) - Mykhailo Svidrak (Ukraine).
In the 100 kg weight category, Ajdar Bagirov will compete with Denis Cedric Nguassa Bekai (Central African Republic).
In the +100 kg weight category, Ushangi Kokauri will face German Marvin Belz, and Kenan Nasibov will face Austrian Stefan Hegyi.
It should be noted that the Grand Slam will end on February 8. Azerbaijan is represented in the competition by eight judokas.
