The Judo Grand Prix tournament held in Linz, Austria, concludes today. On the final day of the competition, two heavyweight representatives of the Azerbaijani national team will enter the fight for medals.
Idman.Biz reports that our athletes, who are testing their strength in the +100 kg weight category, will start the competition from the 1/16 final stage. Jamal Gamzatkhanov will face Wesley Greenidge, representing Great Britain. Our other judoka, Ushangi Kokauri, will test his strength against Jakub Sordyl from Poland.
The qualifying round fights will begin at 13:00 Baku time. The final block, where the medal matches will be held, will start at 20:00.
