Azerbaijan will be represented by 8 judokas at the "Grand Slam" tournament, which will be held in Paris, the capital of France, on February 7-8. Sport24.az reports that this was reported by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
Under the leadership of Richard Trautman, head coach of the men's national team, and senior coaches Elkhan Mammadov and Slavko Tekic, 8 judokas in 5 weight categories - Balabey Agayev (60 kg), Nazir Talibov, Ruslan Pashayev (both 66 kg), Zelim Tckayev, Vusal Galandarzade (both 81 kg), Ajdar Bagirov (100 kg), Ushangi Kokauri and Kenan Nasibov (+100 kg) will compete in Paris.
It should be noted that 526 athletes from 82 countries will compete in the tournament.
