The Azerbaijan Judo Championship among judokas under 17 years old concluded on December 21. Team competitions were organized on the final day of the competition. The tournament took place at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
İdman.Biz reports that 8 teams among boys and 7 teams among girls competed in the team competitions.
In the boys' competition, Baku city team No. 2 RİOEUGİM became the champion by taking first place. Baku city team No. 13 İOEUGİM settled for second place. Baku city team No. 1 RİOEUGİM PHŞ and "Judo Club 2020 İK" shared third place.
In the girls' team competitions, Baku city team No. 13 İOEUGİM climbed to the highest step of the podium. RKİM took second place. Sumgayit city team No. 2 UGİŞM and "Judo Club 2012" were awarded bronze medals.
Thus, the national championship in the U-17 age category ended with team competitions, and the strongest teams of the season were determined.
