The next "Grand Slam" judo tournament will be held without the participation of the Azerbaijani men's national team.
İdman.biz reports that although the team initially applied to participate in the World Tour stage to be held in Astana (May 9-11), there was a change in the preparation plan later.
Azerbaijani judokas will travel to Benidorm (Spain) on May 19-23, where training camps will be held under the auspices of the European Judo Union (EJU).
It should be noted that 3 athletes - Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg) and Fidan Alizade (57 kg) will represent our country in the "Grand Slam" competition to be held in Astana.
