The Azerbaijan Judo Federation has announced the calendar of competitions and events planned for February. According to the calendar, Azerbaijani judokas will participate in a number of tournaments and training stages both domestically and abroad during the month.
According to the information provided to Idman.Biz from the Judo Federation, the first competitions of February started with the international open tournament to be held in the cities of Herstal and Vise, Belgium on January 31 - February 1. It should be noted that our judokas have already achieved success in this competition. An Olympic training camp will be organized in Herstal, Belgium from February 2–5.
The Grand Slam tournament in Paris, France will take place on February 7–8. On the same dates, the first round of the U-17 youth talent selection tournament will be held in Sumgayit. An international training camp is planned in Paris from February 9–12.
The first round of the U-16 youth talent selection tournament in Baku will be held on February 14–15. The European Open Tournament will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on the same days.
On February 16, the ACF Cup in Ne-waza among adults will be held in Baku. On February 19–20, an exam and demonstration of techniques for belt degrees will be organized in the capital.
The first round of the League competition among U-14 youths in Baku will be held on February 21–22. The last competitions of February will end with the Grand Slam tournament to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from February 27 to March 1.
