The Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) held a national seminar with the participation of 150 coaches from various regions of the country.
According to "Report", the meeting was attended by the Vice-President of the AJF Elnur Mammadli, Executive Vice-President Rashad Rasul, Deputy Secretary General and Sports Director Kamran Talibov, as well as Performance Director and head coach of the men's national team Richard Trautmann.
The event discussed the competition calendar for the next year, the action plan, League competitions, Azerbaijan championships, the organization of belt exams, and the rules for the formation of national teams.
During the meeting, the importance of registering clubs and coaches with the AJF for 2026 was emphasized. An exchange of views was also held on the transfer of "Judo Manager" profiles to regional clubs.
In addition, the certification and licensing of coaches, and the rules for the transfer of athletes were explained in detail.
At the meeting, the coaches were once again reminded that issues of discipline, health and safety rules during training are a priority for the AJF. At the end, information was provided about the training camps planned in Baku for regional athletes and the "Judo in Schools" project.
