The number of tatami mats distributed by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation across the country has exceeded 10,000.
"Report" reports that the press service of the Judo Federation (ACF) has released this information.
Since 2022, the federation has distributed over 10,000 tatami mats to 120 gyms in Baku and the regions, providing over 2,000 young athletes with the opportunity to train for free.
It should be noted that in 2022-2025, judo halls were opened by the ACF in Ganja, Sumgayit, Gusar, Agstafa, Zagatala, Goranboy, Sabirabad, Agali village of Zangilan region, Zira settlement of Baku, Agdash, Kurdamir, Astara, Jalilabad, Tartar, and Gakh. The next judo halls will start operating in Imishli, Shabran, and Mosul village of Zagatala.
