Azerbaijani youth judoka Anar Guliyev (50 kg) won a bronze medal at the World Championship held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
According to the employee of "Report" sent to the tournament, he defeated local athlete Svetelin Martinov in the match for third place.
Mahammadali Husiyev (55 kg) will also compete for a bronze medal today.
Khadija Abdullayeva and Gulshan Huseynova (both 44 kg) first lost in the 1/4 finals, and then in the consolation duel.
Rza Khalili (50 kg) and Rasul Alizade (55 kg) lost in the 1/16 finals.
It should be noted that the individual wrestling at the World Championship will end on August 30. The mixed team competition will take place on August 31.
