Azerbaijani athletes are successfully competing at the Kung Fu World Championship held in Perugia, Italy. Sport24.az reports that the President of the Azerbaijan Kung Fu Federation, Nurlan Aslanov, was given the opportunity to speak at the opening ceremony.
Nurlan Aslanov spoke about the sporting achievements of our country, especially the special care and support shown by Mr. President Ilham Aliyev to sports.
Thanks to this attention and support, Azerbaijani athletes successfully perform in international arenas and raise our flag. Arzu Aliyeva, the vice-president, and Babek Aliyev, Amina Aliyeva's personal coach, also participated in order to support the competition. Our 11-year-old athlete Amina Aliyeva qualified for the final and represents our country with dignity.
