"My preparation is going very well."
These words were said by Azerbaijani MMA fighter Ali Guliyev.
He shared his thoughts on his next fight at the "UAE Warriors 67" tournament.
"I am now in Thailand and training in one of the largest gyms in the world. My team is also with me. I have been here for a month now, we have heavy training sessions morning and evening. Now I am in the weight loss phase.
My opponent is from Uzbekistan and is a well-known athlete in Abu Dhabi. He has won twice in that organization. I have also prepared well for the fight and I believe that I will raise the Azerbaijani flag," he said in a statement to offsideplus.az.
A. Guliyev noted that he is in good shape:
"Honestly, I don't like to talk much about the details before the fight. I will show in the octagon what I will do and how. I will do my best to make sure that my hand is raised in the end. During the preparation process, I worked hard on both wrestling and stand-up fighting. My goal is to not give the opponent a chance to think."
It should be noted that in the fight to be held on January 31, Ali Guliyev will face Akbar Islomboyev, a representative of Uzbekistan.
