We will be able to see many of the judokas participating in the "European Judo Hopes" international tournament in our national teams in the future.
"Report" reports that this was stated by Natig Bagirov, advisor to the president of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF), within the framework of the "European Judo Hopes" international tournament held in Baku.
He stated that the international tournament will play an important role in the development of young judokas:
"About 500 boys and girls judokas from 12 countries are developing in this tournament. Azerbaijan's future judokas are competing here. They will represent us in prestigious competitions in the future. We hope that we will see many of the judokas who will participate in this tournament in our national teams in the future".
The expert hopes that this tournament will be held in Azerbaijan in the coming years as well.
"From this year, the European Judo Union decided to organize this tournament among judokas aged 13 and 15. We are sure that our tournament will be held in the coming years as well. I believe that representatives of dozens of countries will come and participate in this competition every year".
It should be noted that the tournament organized by the European Judo Union at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex will end on July 27.
