The ACF Ne-Waza Cup for adults kicked off today at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
İdman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Judo Federation has released information about this.
It was reported that 157 judokas (137 men, 20 women) representing 33 clubs and sports societies are competing for medals in 11 weight categories.
It should be noted that ne-waza skills in judo allow athletes to develop and improve ground (par terre) techniques during the match. These skills play an important role in the formation of important tactical approaches, both to avoid techniques and to defeat the opponent more effectively.
You can watch the ACF Ne-Waza Cup live on the official "YouTube" channel of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
