The Absherson-Khizi Region Championship among U17 judoists will be held.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation that athletes from Khizi, Absheron and Sumgayit will compete in the tournament.
The purpose of the competition is to form a youth judo base and identify athletes who will participate in the national championship based on quotas. Also, the regional championship will bring important rating points for selection to the national team.
Note that the tournament will be held on October 25-26 at the Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex.
