Azerbaijani judoka Abil Yusubov has successfully performed at the European Cup among youths held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
Idman.Biz reports that our athlete competing in the 73kg weight category won a silver medal on the first day of the tournament.
Yusubov won all five meetings on his way to the final. In the decisive match, he lost to Italian Luço Tavoletta and finished the competition in second place.
Note that on the last day of the European Cup, 15 more members of the Azerbaijani team will enter the tatami.
