Teams from 71 countries have already applied to participate in the World Judo Championship, which will be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Idman.biz reports that the largest team currently belongs to Italy, which will be represented by 18 athletes.
France, Germany and South Korea (+100 kg) follow.
Meanwhile, a number of teams have not yet announced their squads. Hungary, the host country of the competition, as well as Japan, Brazil, Mongolia and many other countries have not yet registered.
The composition of the Azerbaijani national team will also be determined after the training camp in Benidorm, Spain.
It should be noted that the Judo World Championship will be held on June 13-19.
