The European Judo Championship will start today in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.

Men
60 kg
Ahmad Yusifov will join the competition from the 1/16 finals. He will wrestle with Izhak Ashpiz (Israel).
Turan Bayramov's opponent in the same stage will be James Zahra (Malta).
66 kg
Ruslan Pashayev will face Boyan Yotov (Bulgaria) in the 1/16 finals.
Women
48 kg
Konul Aliyeva will face Paulina Szlachta (Poland) in the 1/16 finals.
52 kg
Gultaj Mammadaliyeva will test her strength with Chiara Serra (Germany) in the 1/16 finals.
It should be noted that our national team went to the European Championship, which will end on April 27, with 15 judokas (9 men, 6 women).
