38 Azerbaijani judokas will represent Azerbaijan at the European Cup in Istanbul

The European Youth Cup will be held in Istanbul, Turkey on May 3-4.

"Report" informs that Azerbaijan will be represented by 38 judokas (28 boys, 10 girls) in X weight categories at the competition organized by the European Judo Union.

The judokas will be led by Elchin Ismayilov, the senior coach of the men's team, Rustam Alimli, the head coach of the young boys' team, coach Elkhan Rajabli, Amina Abdullatif, the head coach of the women's team, and senior coach Sasha Herkenrat-Vimar.

529 athletes (355 boys, 174 girls) from 30 countries will participate in the tournament.
