According to the International Judo Federation (IJF) calendar, the Grand Slam tournament will be held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on July 25-27.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan will be represented at this competition by 3 judokas in 2 weight categories, led by Elkhan Mammadov, the head coach of the men's national team.
248 athletes (148 men, 100 women) from 29 countries will participate in the three-day tournament.
Nazim Umbayev, a member of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation's referee board, an "A" category international referee, will be among the representatives of justice at this stage of the IJF World Tour.
