A test competition for the III CIS Games in rhythmic gymnastics was held in Sheki. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation has released information about this.
It was reported that 130 gymnasts from 13 clubs participated in the 30th national championship held on September 20-21 at the Olympic Sports Complex.
Athletes demonstrated their programs with hoop, ball, ribbon, and clubs in the junior, youth, and adolescent age categories.
Results:
- Leyli Gayibli, Zeynab Ismayilova and Mira Ozel won the championship among juniors.
- Amina Novruzova and Gulnur Mammadli won gold medals in the youth category.
- Azada Atakishiyeva won in the youth competition.
- In group exercises, the "Ocaq Sport" club also took the lead and won all the prize places in the all-around and 5 rope program.
