Rin Keys became the only non-European gymnast to reach the finals of the World Cup in Baku after performances in the first two disciplines.
Idman.biz reports that the American secured a place in the final, finishing eighth in the qualifying round for hoop exercises.
The top eight in the hoop exercise also included Stiliana Nikolova (Bulgaria), Taisia Onofriichuk (Ukraine), Sofia Raffaeli (Italy), Alina Harnasko, Anastasia Salos (both neutral athletes), Gökçe Emir (Turkey), and Vera Tugolukova (Cyprus).
In the ball final, Daria Varfolomeev (Germany), Mayan Sumkin (Israel), as well as the aforementioned Nikolova, Raffaeli, Salos, Harnasko, Tugolukova, and Onofriichuk will perform.
