French football club PSJ „Parma“ is close to completing the transfer of goalkeeper Dzion Suzuki.
Idman.Biz reports, citing „Football Italia“, that Paris is close to agreeing a package worth 35 million euros (approximately 68.6 million AZN) with the Italian club for the 23-year-old goalkeeper.
If the transfer takes place, it is not yet clear whether Suzuki will remain in the PSJ squad. The Paris club is also considering the option of loaning him to „Juventus“. This issue will depend on the future of Lukas Chevalier.
According to the source, the parties will discuss this detail within the coming week. If Chevalier leaves PSJ, Suzuki may stay in Paris. Otherwise, it is possible that the Japanese goalkeeper will be loaned to „Juventus“ to gain more playing practice.
PSJ had previously made a 33 million euro offer for Suzuki. In subsequent negotiations, the package was increased to 35 million euros. „Juventus“ is also interested in the goalkeeper, but the transfer fee is considered high for the Turin club.
