The members of the Azerbaijani judo team are taking part in an international training camp in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Idman.Biz reports that over 700 judokas from 30 countries have joined the training process, which started on August 5 at the Olympic Training Base.
As part of the gathering, the members of the Azerbaijani team are working on their physical and technical preparation, as well as participating in randori sessions with judokas from different countries. These exercises enable the athletes to increase their fighting tempo and gain practical experience with opponents of different styles.
The training process is aimed at preparing for upcoming international tournaments. It is expected that the training and sparring experience gained by the team members during the gathering will play an important role in their preparation for the next competitions.
Note that the international training camp will last until August 15.
