French football club PSJ has made a serious offer for Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler.
İdman.Biz reports that according to "Fichajes", Paris club has offered Madrid representatives 115 million euros (approximately 228 million AZN) for the transfer of the 21-year-old footballer. The PSJ leadership considers the Turkish midfielder one of their main transfer targets.
The source says that "Real" is currently considering the offer. Guler has increased his role at the Madrid club in recent seasons and is considered one of the most promising young midfielders in Europe.
The possible transfer could also bring significant income to Fenerbahce. When Arda Guler moved from the Istanbul club to Real in 2023, a clause was included in the contract that would give Fenerbahce a 20% share of the player's future sale. Therefore, if the 115 million euro transfer takes place, the Turkish club could earn around 23 million euros (45.6 million AZN).
Note that Real Madrid transferred Arda Guler from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023 for 20 million euros, with additional bonuses. The Istanbul club has already received several bonus payments stipulated in the contract.
